Start with the destination

Provide the delivery country and postal code, the type of organisation and the requested quantity. State whether there is one delivery location or several. A broad enquiry for worldwide supply is less actionable than a defined destination and expected order pattern.

Include a target date as a requirement, not as an assumed commitment. Stock and transit options need confirmation for the actual order.

Separate product terms from transport terms

A quotation should make clear what is supplied, how it is packed and which transport arrangements are included. Ask how any taxes, duties, local requirements or additional charges are handled for the destination. This site does not provide a universal customs or tax determination.

Where collection or your own freight arrangement is intended, say so at the start. Do not assume a retail delivery statement applies to an international wholesale order.

Make repeat business easier to specify

For repeat orders, share an estimated order interval and expected volume range. These are planning inputs, not commitments to reserve stock unless agreed. Retain the product reference and compatibility record from the first order.

For Dutch-language product use and nutrition guidance there is a separate knowledge site, Bidonkrat.nl. Here the focus is procurement: establishing a product configuration and an enquiry that can be priced and assessed.
